My current focus is on metaplastic, a material that allows me to create work that is durable and versatile.<\/p>\n<p>Growing up in Mufulira, Zambia, and later moving to London, I was struck by the intersection of nature and human intervention. This fascination drives my artistic practice, as I seek to explore the connectivity of the spirit and soul by stripping away societal, institutional, and personal barriers.<\/p>\n<p>Through mixed media, I aim to create a range of emotions, from introspection to joy, that inspire viewers to think differently and challenge traditional notions of art. I draw inspiration from the works of Manolo Millares, Antonio Tapies, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, and the modern and futuristic movements in art.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, my goal is to inspire the next generation of artists to consider industrial materials and their potential for sustainability, while preserving the lessons of the past. I believe that by constantly pushing boundaries and experimenting with new forms, we can create a challenging and educational future.
