BIO
I am an artist based in Marbella, Spain and am constantly exploring new materials and techniques to express my vision. My current focus is on metaplastic, a material that allows me to create work that is durable and versatile.
Growing up in Mufulira, Zambia, and later moving to London, I was struck by the intersection of nature and human intervention. This fascination drives my artistic practice, as I seek to explore the connectivity of the spirit and soul by stripping away societal, institutional, and personal barriers.
Through mixed media, I aim to create a range of emotions, from introspection to joy, that inspire viewers to think differently and challenge traditional notions of art. I draw inspiration from the works of Manolo Millares, Antonio Tapies, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, and the modern and futuristic movements in art.
Looking ahead, my goal is to inspire the next generation of artists to consider industrial materials and their potential for sustainability, while preserving the lessons of the past. I believe that by constantly pushing boundaries and experimenting with new forms, we can create a challenging and educational future. Integrating the old with the new to bridge controversy and harmonise the balance for preservation and the future.
